Porsche 911 and Boxster Tow Hook License Plate Bracket Adapter Kit

This no-drill front bumper tow hook license plate mounting bracket adapter kit is compatible with the following Porsche models: 1994-2011 Carrera 911 (993, 996, 997), and 1997-2004 Boxster. It does not fit 2012-up Carrera 996, 2006-up Cayman, or Macan/Cayenne/Panamera models.

Unlike the "copycats" on the market, our iJDMTOY license plate mounting bracket is made of heavy-duty black powder-coated steel instead of lightweight aluminum. This offers superior strength and durability, and better prevents the license plate from spinning due to high-speed driving. The mounting bracket also comes with 8 different mounting locations to best keep the plate from blocking the intake vents, lights, or parking sensors. Additionally, it features angle adjustment slots on the plate to better follow the curve of the bumper during installation.

The tow bar rod adapter is CNC-made with T6 billet aluminum that fits into the vehicle's front tow eye. It is accompanied by a sturdy steel metal number plate mounting panel, as well as the necessary screws and nuts.

Installation is a straightforward 4-step process: 1) Remove the front tow hook cover cap, 2) screw in the adapter rod (receiver/holder) into the tow hole, 3) attach the license plate frame/bracket, and 4) bolt on your license/tag.

This relocation kit will reposition the license plate off-center, giving your ride an aggressive appearance. It also provides optional support to attach a camera if desired.

Please note the following important considerations: - Always check the product compatibility list in the description to ensure your vehicle is listed. - Verify if your OEM tow hook matches the picture of the compatible tow hook shown in the product listing, and that the threading pattern is the same, regardless of tow bar color. - The tow bar is designed to fit a number of vehicles, so the space between the bumper and the support bracket may vary slightly according to your car. This space will give you appropriate hand-space to fully mount the license plate onto the support bracket, making the installation easier. - If the tow hook socket/eye and the front parking sensor's distance is less than 5" apart, the license plate mounting bracket might trigger the sensor.
